This is fairly old, but is a really creative and upbeat remake of Thom Yorke's "The Eraser". Full of simple, funky synth bass-lines and subdued 4-on-the-floor beats, this one is hard to get off the mind. Listen to it here.
When life hands you foreclosure, soak that shit in water from the hose and call it art!
If you are a big-picture artist, and enjoy suburban houses, than Detroit is your new mecca for on-the-cheap art installations. Hell you can probably buy the home and land for less than the price of a semi-fulfilling HJ in Reno.
Everyone in the know will agree, that Collection! was too far ahead of its time to receive the attention and accolades it most certainly deserves. So, through the generosity of Mr. Jaeffers, this album has come back to see the light of day, exclusively on _t+s.
Equal parts dance and slowjamz, Collection! is an album for any and every season, occasion and mood.
Oldie, but a goodie. They are one of the few actually innovative bands doing something truly different out there in the world of rock. New one coming out from them soon...
His new single "Wings of Fire" is straight off MixMag's 2010 mix release. It's a little more kraut than his normal fare, which is nice that he is changing it up for his sophomore release.
This is by far the funniest idea for a TumblR i have seen yet. I mean, its all photos of Michael Buble being stalked by a raptor. I love dem innernetz.
Here's the latest track from Juan Maclean, coming out shortly in their DJ Kicks release.
This is by far the best dance-track JM have come out with since their blow up "Happy House". Sounds kind of DFA/Murphy soaked, but that's never really a bad thing. After the disappointing release of The Future Will Come, it's nice to see the folks Maclean are going back to the sound that made them indispensable in the first place.
Unfortunately, you gotta email to listen to the track, but it's totally worth the time/effort.
